Dorothy parker said, “I’m not a writer with a drinking problem, I’m a drinker with a writing problem.” We’re event promoters with access to cocktails powered by Absinthe and steampunk. It’s very similar.
So we are a Steampunk-based all-inclusive welcoming immersive experience in Manhattan. See? Our steampunk-inspired cocktail selection is a central attraction.
In other words, we are a really, really amazing cocktail party. I mean, don’t you love the kind of cocktail parties which combine lots of live entertainment with eccentric, delicious themed cocktails and interactivity and delicious food?

We really are one of the best Steampunk cocktail events in Manhattan, known for our drinks inspired by absinthe and gin, for the rather obvious reason of being one of the only Steampunk cocktail parties in Manhattan. We have no idea why that is. Steampunk cocktail parties are amazingly easy to throw. Every time a promoter with slightly better fashion sense decides to do one, it’s the event of the year; granted, given the time machines, there are about seven Events of the Year per year, but if you don’t say anything, we won’t say anything…
…but until there are more steampunk-themed cocktail parties, we’re one of the best.
As far as we know.
For something like three decades, it’s been our general secret that if you have an event where half the people dress funny and pay for alcohol, they’re going to have a good time with craft steampunk cocktails in hand.
But it’s very hard not to get some incredible live music if you’re in the Imaginary Nineteenth Century genre. (Again, extend the principle: if you can see why anyone willing to glue goggles to a secondhand tophat is likely to be fun to meet…anyone who might do that AND pick up a perfectly good guitar at the same time is going to be interesting as hell.)
And that whole carnival/circus tradition makes it difficult not to pick up a contortionist or a juggler or some other talented, offbeat performer. (It surprises us, too.) Cocktails inspired by steampunk further enhance the unique vibe only such gatherings can provide.
But let’s say people don’t like those things, and they don’t like dancing, and they don’t drink.
You can still tell them it’s a cocktail event themed around steampunk, and they’ll figure they can get a diet Coke and see what happens, and they’ll STILL have a good time. (They will.)
If this one goes well, we expect to see a lot of others.
Which is great!
We’d like to go to a few ourselves.
That’s it!
Everything else is just fun.
